Hug Your Hero Gifts, Inc. began on May 18, 2007 and launched it’s first product line on January 11, 2008, exactly one year to date after Stephanie left the almost 19 years of corporate life to be her own boss. “To me, it was about making a better life for my family, raising our daughter and filling our life with a higher purpose. I wanted the flexibility to be able to volunteer at my daughter’s school, go on field trips, meet new and exciting people and other business owners and grow a business that could be passed on to our daughter” says Stephanie. “It’s about having that passion and dedication in my life and it just took me a little longer to find than most people.” Hug Your Hero Gifts launched its products this January at the AmericasMart Atlanta, formerly known as the Atlanta Gift Mart. “What an exciting and overwhelming event.
